SYNOPSIS: The Patriots (including Sam Adams, John Adams, Revere and Hancock) are planning their protest against taxes in Wilkins’ Tavern. Prattle provides the fun, singing “Do you remember the night when we dumped all the tea?” But when the English Major arrives, the Patriots’ plans are crushed. Sarah Willkins’ love for the Lieutenant is squashed, Wilkins’ son Nathan is beaten for carrying messages about a deserter, and Wilkins must flee for his life—the Patriots singing “We shall build a nation.”
