Class 1 –  Beginner’s Guide to Digital Photography

  • What your camera actually “sees”

  • All about aperture and F stops

  • All about depth of field

  • All about shutter speed

  • All about ISO and camera sensitivity

  • Secret settings that will instantly make you a better photographer

 

Class 2 –  A More Comprehensive Guide to Digital Photography

 

  • Your camera’s metering modes, how they differ, when to use them, and what they do

  • Camera sensor types

  • Familiarity with lenses

  • Exposure compensation

  • Color temperature and how it relates to photography

  • File types

  • How to achieve tack sharp focusing

  • Color space

 

Class 3 – Simplifying Post-Processing

 

  • Why post-processing is a must

  • How to get started

  • Various programs to utilize

  • Simplifying the process

  • Saving images for the internet

  • Saving images for printing

MEET YOUR INSTRUCTOR       

David Blecman, a member of the Professional Photographers of  America, is an award-winning,

internationally recognized photographer and instructor, having taught on three continents and

in over a dozen countries.

​

David has photographed projects for such clientele as Sears, Color Me Beautiful, JCPenney,

Bath & Body Works, Foot Action, Kaybee Toys, Littman Jewelers, Seagrams Americas, Holiday Inn,

Wyndham Hotels, Days Inn, Hilton Hotels, Cornell University, The White House, Black Market, Water Water Everywhere, and others.

He was also hired to photograph such celebrities as President George W. Bush, Christina Aguilera, Jimmy Buffett, Steely Dan, Moody Blues, Beyonce and Destiny’s Child, Celine Dion, Gene Simmons and KISS, and numerous others.

​

David continues to speak at modeling and photography venues, judge beauty pageants and photography competitions, and teach and mentor photographers, models, and makeup artists internationally.  David has recently decided to concentrate more of his time on capturing and producing stunning fine art images and displaying them in local galleries.

                     Lunch Break
            Class 2 – 2:30 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.

CLASS FEE – Sign up for one, two, or all three classes
            $30 per class for Crisfield Arts Syndicate Members
            $40 per class for non-members
