Artwork within the community and meant for the community can change the community!
Alley Art Project
Students Zoom once a week for 6 weeks. This program started July 25, but we are still accepting students till it's filled. You'll be provided with a canvas and paint & brushes, funded in part by Community Foundation of the Eastern Shore. After participants canvases are complete, they will be displayed together on the
Temporary exhibit of all canvas at building will be displayed at 419 West Main Street.

Short Film Challenge
Theme: Census 2020
EXTENDED Deadline September 25, 2020
Submit your short film that explores the importance to our community of making sure everyone fills out and returns their census form!
Be creative, make it your own - the style is up to you: Public Service Announcement, Music Video, Monologue, Montage, Comedy. Must include people from, and places in, Somerset County. Some stock footage allowed.

Videos exceeding 2 minutes will not be considered. We prefer a link to YouTube or Vimeo, but MP4 will also be accepted.

Videos will be voted on by Arts Leaders in the community. Including $25 Gift Certificate for 3winners, videos will be displayed on our website and social media.

Led by Poet Laureate Nancy Mitchell
Nancy Mitchell is the Salisbury, MD Poet Laureate, an internationally known poet and recipient of the Pushcard Prize. She has taught Creative Writing for Salisbury University and the Maryland Summer Center for the Arts.
